CMS for a custom content management system

It's not about making content available to the masses. Your content should also be very easy to change.

We work with a variety of CMS solutions. CMS stands for Content Management System and is simply a system to allow anyone within a company to maintain parts or all of a website.

An active website needs to be updated regularly. With a CMS solution you do this on your own, inhouse.

The option for the customer to administer their own website is done in one of two ways:

With a custom made solution built from scratch to fit the customer's specific demands.
With an open source-solution as a platform, custom built and developed to fit all requirements. This could be based on Wordpress, Joomla or ZenCart to name sjust a few.

Common to both options is that they are built to satisfy the customer's requirements and demands. No simple "out-of-the-box" solutions. Both options also allow for you to administer the website from a standard web browser.

The cost of producing a website based on a CMS solution is higher than for one without, but the advantages quickly make themselves known. You don't need to contact your web agency to change a misspelled word. You can add new pages and images even if your webmaster has gone on holiday for a week. You don't have to pay someone for an update which you can do yourself in five minutes.
