It should be obvious for a web agency to have a comprehensive, up-to-date and phenomenal website. But reality often looks a bit different: due to a heap of client web projects, time is sometimes in short supply when it comes to one’s own site.
Now we’ve rectified that anomaly and put some time aside for ourselves and worked through julian.se!
A new structure and design, a shape-up of the content and a couple of new functions here and there. As we use WordPress for lots of client work, it was logical to re-build the site with WP as a platform – the last version of the site was incidentally built with straight-up HTML and PHP-pages, without a CMS.
Aside from frontend functionality, we’ve also focused on backend functions, for example a project directory with sketches, files and notes, where we can quickly filter based on the type of work.
There are a couple of rough edges, which we’re still working on; a couple of pages might redirect incorrectly, old news and posts need to be migrated from other systems, but we are pleased to be able to present a new version of the website, which will grow with time.
