Some logos are real classics, most people know them without even seeing the company name printed. Many of them are timeless and still look modern today although they were drawn by hand a hundred years ago. But logos sometimes need to get updated to reflect change, a developing society. Hence many logotypes have been re-made to be more appealing and better fit a company's evolving graphic profile.
We often like the simple, the clean and the stripped down. This is also reflected in the logotypes we've produced for customers. Perhaps we get started in the shape of an old typeface and expand and simplify it to reflect the customer's business.
