A graphic profile for effective communication
Corporate identity or graphic profile - how to focus to achieve clear communication
We receive it sometimes. A mailout from a company we're familiar with. The problem is that we only recognise it because we see the company name. The layout, content and design looks completely different from how it usually looks. Then we visit their website and it has yet another look. Then it doesn't matter if the different parts are good: the overall impression leads to confusion. The company's graphic profile pulls in opposite directions which drains the brand of value.
A graphic profile or corporate identity is usually made up of business card, letterheaded paper, envelope and other printed material a company uses in its day-to-day activity. Today there are so many other ways than stationery to communicate, such as electronic newsletters, blogs and rss feeds, that it's even more important to create an overall strategy for how one wants to be perceived by customers.
The printed identity of your business card is the first chance to leave behind a good first impression, being both simple and priceless at the same time. But just as important is to create a complete identity to encompass everything you send out to your customers, or potential customers.
We are good at seeing the overall picture. Feel free to get in touch to borrow our ideas.
